Very dark pink gems tend to have strong brown secondary hues and aren’t highly saturated. Lighter tones of pink can be quite attractive, and medium tones can achieve higher saturation. In general, Pink color can express gentle emotions, admiration, elegance and grace. This gem (photo was taken under room environment) is a spectrum of color combination between Tea Rose , Puce Pink, Careys Pink and Turkish Rose. Tea Rose resembles the color of a variety of wild roses by the same name while Puce Pink is uncommon color name that means dark reddish purple brown. But this particular color is more of a pinkish brown with a hint of purple. It is less brown than many of the dusty shades of pink, making it a happy medium between bright pink and dusty pink. Careys Pink shade looks a lot like a soft, diluted mauve. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a pale pink that leans more toward purple than it does toward peach. Careys Pink has a cool undertone that gives it a particularly soothing quality. Turkish Rose is a somewhat unusual shade.
